Elwood is quite a character. This picture is several months old so he’s much bigger today. Elwood actually communicates with me more than any cat I’ve ever known. If he can see the bottom of his food bowl he will seek me out and by meowing, pawing and putting on some crazy cat acrobatic performance will lure me into the kitchen. He then trots to his dish, lays one paw on it, looks at me and then in two long leaps perches himself on the shelf next to the container of cat food.
I learned quick that his food must be stored in a plastic container because Elwood will get to a bag of cat food no matter where it is and proceed to kick it out of the bag in such a way that hundreds of cat food nuggets are bouncing off the walls and ceiling. He also has a strange fascination with ice cubes and likes to dunk his paw in my glass of tea and watch the ice cubes bounce around and that really sucks but I love him anyway.
